Agent Code of Ethics

In October 2016, Australia’s education peak bodies have came together at the Australian International Education Conference (AIEC) to endorse a national code of ethics for international education agents.

Our Commitment to Excellence Goya de Hoog Consultancy operates according to the Australian Agent Code of Ethics (ACE). This framework ensures that our professional behavior is guided by seven core ethical principles:

  • Integrity: Being straightforward and honest in all professional and business dealings.

  • Objectivity: Ensuring professional judgment is not compromised by bias or conflict of interest.

  • Transparency: Declaring all fees and any potential conflicts of interest clearly to our clients.

  • Confidentiality: Respecting and preserving the privacy of your personal information.

  • Professional Competence: Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the education sector to provide diligent service.

  • Professional Behaviour: Acting in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations while dealing with clients fairly.

  • Professionalism and Purpose: Acting in a manner that serves the interests of our clients and the wider society.
